What happens during your first Physiotherapy session?

Your first session at Summit Rehab will involve an assessment of your child, so that we can get a better understanding of their medical, therapeutic and functional history. This helps your physiotherapist get a better picture of your child whilst also listening to your concerns as a parent.

We evaluate your child’s body alignment, joint range of motion, reflexes, muscle tone, strength and functional movement. We then create goals with parents and start an intervention plan, which may also include home exercises, so that we can start helping your child reach their highest potential.

When do Physiotherapy intensive blocks run?

Summit run intensive blocks in all the school holidays. Intensives can be 1-2 weeks in duration depending on the child's goals. â€‹â€‹
