Summit Rehab is a paediatric physiotherapy clinic, providing exceptional support to kids in South East Sydney. We specialise in physiotherapy for children with a wide range of neurological conditions, rare genetic disorders and developmental delays. We provide both intensive and weekly therapy to kids of all ages, from the early months through to adolescence. Our team of physiotherapists are highly skilled, passionate, fun and strive to ensure every kid reaches their highest potential.

Paediatric Physiotherapy focuses on optimising the development and function of infants through to adolescents. At Summit Rehab, we provide early intervention to children with neurological disorders such as Cerebral Palsy and genetic conditions.

DYNAMIC MOVEMENT INTERVENTION (DMI)

DMI challenges the child’s neuromuscular system with exercises designed to provoke a response against gravity. This improves their posture, strength and balance whilst promoting neuroplasticity and improving gross motor skills. 

INTENSIVE THERAPY

Intensive blocks of physiotherapy are utilised to give bursts of therapeutic intervention within a short time frame to best optimise a child’s gain. An intensive block may involve 1-2 hours of physiotherapy a day, for 1-3 consecutive weeks.
